2010 Chrysler 300 style

As did Audi when redesigning the TT, Chrysler encountered the troublesome test of reinventing a symbol when it headed off to the staging phase for the following 300. The newfangled 300 possesses a shape comparable to that of its predecessor, but looks more classy. Up front, Chrysler moves to an unique corporate grille, first reviewed on the Imperial idea and most newly, the 200C EV idea demonstrated at the 2009 Detroit car exhibition. The meager flat chrome rods are sleeker than the eggcrate worn by the present auto, and they give the newfangled 300 less of a boxy, road-flatboat look. Fog light groups are squared and smoothed, while the front guard is significantly more coordinated, tightening up the button.

The 300C is sold in Europe and Australia as both a sedan and a station wagon. The station wagon is sold as the 300C Touring (not to be confused with the North American sedan's "Touring" trim level) which shares much of its sheet metal aft of the c-pillar with the Dodge Magnum. The 300C Touring differs from the Magnum in that it's frontal styling and interior are that of the 300C instead of the less-luxurious Magnum. The base Chrysler 300 is not sold in Europe, instead all cars come with the 300C bodystyle/interior and a choice of either V6, diesel or V8 gasoline powerplants. All 300C Touring models, along with European 300C sedans and right-hand drive models, are built by Magna Steyr in Graz, Austria.
